Paul Gravellese named A.V.P.  Business Banking Officer at HarborOne Credit Union  
We are pleased to announce that Paul Gravellese has joined HarborOne Credit Union as A.V.P. Business Banking Officer. He will be responsible for developing business checking and lending relationships within the community we serve, including financing for commercial real estate, equipment purchases, business lines of credit, and term loans. 
 

Paul joined HarborOne Credit Union in April. He previously held positions as Assistant Manager and Business Banking Officer for Sovereign Bank in Abington and Cohasset. Sales Representative for Eastern Bank in Norwell, and Customer Service Representative for Nation Check Protection Service located in Rockland. Paul resides in Hanson, MA.

 Wayne F. Dunn named Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Wayne F. Dunn has joined HarborOne Credit Union. He will be responsible for establishing strategic direction and initiatives that will leverage technological investments and provide operational efficiencies throughout the organization. He will also be responsible for the development and integration of technology solutions that support the organization's strategic mission.

Mr. Dunn brings to us a wealth of experiences, skills and knowledge. He is a graduate of Newbury College. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Microsoft Certified Trainer.

Prior to joining HarborOne Credit Union, Mr. Dunn was Chief Technology Officer for Clearway Technology Partners. Prior to that, he was Senior Director for Enterprise Computing for Cognizant Technology Solutions Enterprise Computing Practice (acquired from AimNet Solutions.) During his tenure, the practice became the cornerstone of Cognizant/AimNet's professional services through Mr. Dunn's efforts to develop and foster partnerships with industry leaders, such as Microsoft, and his leadership on key information technology projects for companies such as BOSE Corporation, Yankee Candle Company, Foxwoods Casino Resort, and Iron Mountain.

Before joining Cognizant, Mr. Dunn was Director of Technical Services for Allied Domecq QSR with responsibility for all technology infrastructures within the company. He began his career in Information Systems with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, where he was instrumental in implementing the first industry standard local area networks and desktop systems.

Mr. Dunn has 20 years of industry, systems design and implementation experience. He is also a frequent presenter at Microsoft sponsored events.

HarborOne renews major sponsorship of drive to end homelessness.


The Board of Directors of HarborOne Credit Union, Brockton MA, announced today that it had renewed its annual pledge to be a major sponsor of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless “Drive to End Homelessness” campaign.  The Massachusetts Credit Union League has been a staunch supporter of the Massachusetts Coalition’s efforts to eradicate homelessness and encourages its credit unions to participate in a number of events to address this issue.  The “Drive to End Homelessness” is the primary fundraiser.In presenting the donation of $5,500 James W. Blake, president and CEO of HarborOne Credit Union, observed that “Homelessness continues to be a very significant social problem with terrible economic consequences not just to those afflicted but to the rest of our communities.  Thus, we are very proud to make a contribution of this size to aid the Coalition’s efforts.”With $1.5 billion in assets, HarborOne is the largest community-based credit union in New England and one of the top one hundred in the nation.  It has received the highest, “Outstanding” rating from the state Division of Banks for performance under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) examination for the past four examinations.
